Many of us start the New Year with resolutions to shrink our waist lines by exercising every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Make it your resolution this year to expand your thought process by reading POLI-ticked at www.tomwurtz.com every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  The POLI-ticked article this week provides detail on what two Senators from Northern Kentucky, Senators Damon Thayer and John Schickel are doing to restore Tea Party principals to government.

SB62 – AN ACT relating to planning commissions. Amend KRS 147.620, relating to the dissolution of an area planning commission, by changing the petition signature requirements from 25% of the number of registered voters who voted in the last presidential election to 10% of the number of registered voters who voted in the last regular election.”

Call the legislative hot line at 1-800-372-7181 and ask your Senator and Representative to support SB62.  The call is free and the process take about a minute.

And what about Waterloo?  Click on this link to read the article by Tom Wurtz.
