Everyone needs to call the legislative hotline at 1-800-372-7181 and tell the operator that you want your Representative to vote for Cindy Arlinghaus's Bill HB 48. This bill closes the loophole that allowed your property taxes to be raised above the 4% threshold. Cindy has been a champion in getting this wrong corrected. This bill has been passed over for far too long.
Time is of the essence. The session is coming to an end. Our Representatives need to know that we pay enough taxes as it is. Please call now. |

Call the Legislative Hot Line at 1-800-372-7181 and tell the Northern Kentucky Legislative Caucus how you want them to vote on these bills:
HB216 forces kids to stay in school by raising the dropout age to 18. Say NO to this as you cannot teach someone that does not want to be in school. We need our money spent on people that want to learn. Limited Government
HB 255 forces more of our dollars into green energy for schools. Say NO to this as we have learned with the debacle at the Edgewood school that these system are not cost effective and will cost us for years to come. Free Markets.
SB49 lets the Fiscal Court Judge select and appoint members to the library boards. Say YES as we need elected officials to be held responsible for our taxes. Fiscal Responsibility.
SB 62 sets a realistic threshold for getting the NKAPC on the ballot. Say YES as we need elected officials to be held responsible for our taxes. Fiscal Responsibility.
HB 30 permits advertising on school buses. Say NO as we do not want to confuse educating our children with the private sector capitalism. Free Markets.
Keep checking back as new bills are reviewed and analyzed under the light of Fiscal Responsibility, Free Markets and Limited Government. |

The attached is provided to us by the Tea Party Manatee in Florida. Thanks and keep up the good work.
James O’Keefe is famous for his videos that brought down ACORN. Liberals hate him for this. Now, he has done something else great. For years, we conservatives have ranted about liberal vote fraud. The left has done everything in its power to make it easier to steal elections with vote fraud. Liberals fight tooth and nail to keep any provision that protects the integrity of the voting system from becoming law. The left and its friends in the media have dismissed claims by real Americans that vote fraud is easy and occurs a lot. James O’Keefe and other activists went on the day of the New Hampshire Republican Primary and asked for ballots in the names of recently deceased people. Only one time were they stopped, only because the election official personally knew the deceased person. Other than that, they received numerous ballots. They made certain they did not vote and did not violate the law. The videos are devastating indictments showing the ease with which voter fraud can be committed.
The Democratic response was predictable. Instead of being shocked at how easy it was to fraudulently obtain ballots, they were outraged that the conservative activists exposed their scam. The As with all liberals, their outrage is selective. Last year, New Hampshire’s Republican controlled state legislature passed a Voter ID law. New Hampshire had a Democrat governor and can you guess what happened? Of course, he vetoed that bill.
If you want to be outraged, here is the video. It is absolute proof that VOTER ID laws are needed in all 50 states. |

What would be the public and media reaction to a prison break in Kentucky? Where nearly 1,000 convicted felons escaped from the state’s major prisons and were allowed by authorities to endanger the public? Well it happened here on January 3, 2012 in Kentucky.

The article in last week's Kenton County Recorder prompted this response that questions the economic justification of solar panels on the Turkeyfoot school. When will our elected officals quit spending Other Peoples Money?
