The growth of the Tea Party is largely fueled by misguided leadership within the Republican and Democratic parties. Four years ago many of us were asleep when the Democrats nominated and the people elected a socialist to the White House. Then the Republicans promoted, passed and continue to defend legislation that authorizes the President to use the military to indefinitely detain US citizens that he determines are terrorists.

If you are a Tea Party regular you understand what is happening to our freedoms.  Bring a friend to a meeting and help them catch up on federal, state and local politics. In the next meeting of the Kenton Tea we will discuss how to get involved in your local Republican party and return it to the party of limited government, free markets and fiscal responsibility.
