SB 62 Passes in Senate Print E-mail
Written by Garth Kuhnhein

The vote was 23-12 largely along party lines.  There were a few Democrats that voted for the bill — mostly those that serve on Sen. Thayer’s State & Local Government Committee.  Sen. Gerald Neal, who serves on that committee from Louisville initially voted to support the bill but after Sen. Kathy Stein from Lexington said she did not believe in lowering the threshold for abolishing anything he reversed his vote.  Now it is off to the House of Representatives.

Call the LRC, 1-800-372-7181 and tell the Northern Kentucky Caucus that you support SB-62.
